AlignTec provides a wireless internet connection to the premises from one of our regional communications towers. Internet service speed plans start at 3Mbps download and 1Mbps upload, and speed availability is dependent on location. To determine if your location can be serviced, and what speeds are available, we must perform a site survey at your address to verify access to one of our towers, and ensure a suitable mounting location for our equipment.
Here Are The Steps…
Free Site Survey
AlignTec’s wireless services rely on having a clear view of one of our towers, so we perform a free site survey to confirm availability and pricing. You don’t need to be home for the site survey as long as our technician can freely walk about the property and you are under no obligation to sign up once the survey is done.
The survey may require:
- Walking the perimeter of the property including identifying remote mounts
- Roof access with a ladder
Please let us know if we need to be aware of anything during the survey including:
- Gate access
We do need permission to perform a site survey on the property. To expedite the process please indicate your permission to survey below and we will put you on the next survey schedule and follow up by phone and email within one to two business days AFTER the survey is done
If you are not the owner or occupant of the property, providing permission to survey indicates that you are authorized to provide permission and any occupants are aware of this survey request.
Let’s get the ball rolling… Fill out the site survey form below to be put on our survey list. We survey at various times throughout the week weather permitting.
After your survey has been completed, one of our staff will email and call with the results. We will inform you that your result was either positive or negative. If we are unable to contact you directly, we will request a call back so that we may give you all the pricing and details for installation and services. This is a good time to ask all your questions.
If you are ready to move forward with having internet service installed, we need a few minutes of your time to gather the necessary information to create your account and schedule the installation. We will also ask for a valid credit card at this time, however, nothing is charged until after the installation is completed and your new service is verified working. Even though you’ve provided a credit card, you may opt to pay by check at the time of installation.
