AlignTec is a locally owned and operated company based in beautiful Durango, Colorado. Originally started in Durango as Aligned Technologies in 1996, AlignTec has provided IT and technical services to area businesses and homes over the years, creating many, long-lasting relationships that remain to this day. We began our first wireless internet broadcast in 2004, northwest of town in Hidden Valley. Born out of necessity, this first network proved to be a challenge as there was not a lot of choice in quality commercial wireless equipment at the time. As the years passed, however, equipment quality and availability improved, and the number of customers grew. In 2013 we made the decision to take our services and coverage to a whole new level and within four years we went from covering a few select areas around the county, to almost the entire county of La Plata…and we’re still growing. We are proud of the products we offer and the personable customer service we are known for. If you want to find out more about us, or have questions about our service, please contact us and we’ll be happy to chat with you. If you aren't our customer today, we hope you will be soon!
Through innovation, vision, and the use of advanced technology, we are committed to delivering cost-effective, high speed internet access to under-served communities. And recognizing the value of partnerships, we engage with our community to cultivate reciprocal business relationships that encourage growth and further elevate standards of service.
We did it!
AlignTec is a proud recipient of the 2018 Colorado Companies to watch award!
Chief Executive Officer
Orion does…well, we’re still trying to figure out what he does. We see him wandering aimlessly around the office from time to time. We suspect he does something important but we’re not really sure.
Chief Financial Officer
Cynthia is a hip chick who loves numbers…like, REALLY LOVES numbers. It scares most everyone in the office to see the maniacal look on her face when she’s staring at a screen full of numbers. Creepy..
Chief Technical Officer
Mark? Oh, Mark. Hmmm…aha, got it! Mark is really good at putting puzzled looks on people’s faces. We all have to keep spray bottles at our desk to chase him out of our offices when he’s being bad.
Field Operations Manager
Clay is sorta like the little engine that could. No field task is too daunting for this guy. And when he’s not in the field, he’s haunting the tech cave while in preparation for another campaign into the field.
